    EMOTION PROJECT

    IMG_5085.jpg

In this project, I used different colours of acrylic paint including red, brown, beige, blue, pink and black to create texture and emotion. The meaning behind my painting is how words can affect someone's feelings. We live in a world full of hate and lots of people are being bullied; I wanted to express that through this painting. The words surrounding the girl in the art piece is sad from all the hateful and cruel words she has been called such as "worthless" and "ugly". I created texture by using brushes and a hot glue gun to make the tear drop stand out. I chose the colour red because when I think of hate or anger; I think of the colour red. I used the colour blue as the teardrop to represent sadness and misery.
