WILLIAM SOMMER
This is William Sommer. He is a famous watercolour painter and he was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1867. He is well known for bringing European modernism to Northeast Ohio. He briefly studied at an art academy in Germany and then worked as a lithographer in New York before moving to Cleveland.
